An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Intelligence Services team within the Chief Security Office (CSO). CSO plays a vital role in delivering Lloyds Banking Group's vision of putting customers at the heart of everything we do, helping Britain prosper, and protecting the Group, its customers and suppliers from security threats. It's responsible for defining and communicating the Group's security strategy and providing dedicated support and constructive challenge to business areas to ensure the delivery of an effective and compliant security risk management framework.
The Intelligence Team responds to global events and requirements from across the Group, supports our cyber security incidents, informs major transformation projects, and shapes future security initiatives.
What you'll be doing...
This is a brand new role within the Intelligence team and the successful applicant will bring all their data, coding and analytical skills and experience, to provide trends, patterns, and technical insights for the Intelligence team.
In this exciting role, you'll be leading our data science capabilities and working across the Intelligence team to produce and analyse key themes using data from a wide range of sources to identify possible impacts on the business and the wider international cyber security community. You’ll build positive relationships across these areas, ensuring the Group and our stakeholders benefit from the data you collect, process, analyse and assess.
We're looking for someone who is up for challenge, driven in improving the Group and themselves, love learning and are flexible.
What skills would help to make you successful in this role (essential)?
  • Has knowledge and experience of data science and analytical techniques, with relevant experience and a track record of delivering data science and/or analytical projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience of working with any type of datasets within a similar analytical or modelling role
  • Operational and technical knowledge of programming languages, API’s, automation, graphing and visualisation software. (for example, SQL, Python, PowerBI)
  • Is naturally inquisitive and questioning of approach and assumptions with exceptional attention to detail
  • With excellent communication skills, you can work and collaborate with colleagues across the Business.
  • Driven by learning and development, with a continuous improvement mind-set applied to working practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and holds self to high standards of delivery
  • Coach and develop other team members
Additional Information:
  • Occasional UK travel may be required.
  • The salary advertised is for London. We welcome applications from all regions, but the salary will vary from the London rate.
